Last summer I walked the 2650 mile Pacific Crest Trail in its entirety. Along the way I took hundreds of videos and learned how to play the ukulele. The song in this video is one I composed myself on trail. As part of our hike we raised money for an organization called Hike for Mental Health. Check them out here:

Great video.  I would like to ask you guys a question.  If you owned a few hundred acres adjacent to the PCT, what would you do with it?  Its in SoCal, flat, accessible, has a running stream, power and close to town.

jdpinedo it may be just me but I would put up a small wooden shack with signs leading to it that say PCT day stop or something. I'm sure it would make a lot of hikers really happy and they would keep it cleaned up. You might even find artwork painted on it and stuff and eventually it would become a well known hiker friendly camp stop. Just my thoughts.

This is beautiful. I plan to hike this with my autistic son, when hes a bit older. He has the energy to climb mountains every day.

I love this video so much. Makes me miss home. I'm currently living in Japan, but I'm from Compton, California. This video just gives me the fortitude to want to go out and do crazy things like this. Cheers to this video and the awesome composition!
